01Remit

The Ministry holds the following responsibilities on behalf of the colony.

Infant nutrition is held jointly with the Ministry of Wellbeing. Supply falls to Sustenance; care falls to Wellbeing.

02Objective and key results

Objective

Food and water are secured for every resident of the colony.

The Ministry is assessed on four key results. Each is drawn from the colony record. The Ministry does not undertake to reach a fixed level; it undertakes to improve each figure against a baseline, and to publish the movement at every period.

Baselines were fixed on 27 August 2026, before any measure was taken, and are not revised. Movement is reported against them in section 03. A key result is met for a period when its figure has improved on the preceding reading.

03Statistics under observation

The Ministry publishes the following figures. Satisfaction is expressed on a scale from 0 to 1. A crisis is recorded when a resident's need fails severely enough to be registered by the colony.

Movement is the difference between the latest reading and the baseline. It is shown as unmeasured until a second reading has been taken. Figures are restated at each publication and are not corrected retroactively.

Within the baseline window, water satisfaction was stable, food satisfaction and infant food satisfaction were declining, and sanitation was improving.
